ABOUT

Hi, I’m Cushla.

Your wedding day deserves to be treated with care and consideration, from start to finish - beginning with curated styling items for your stationary and keepsakes through to the end of your night with a lighting setup specific to your choice of grand exit.

After college, I made the big move to the united states after saving all the money I could while working as a baker for a small cafe in my hometown - Devonport, on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand.

Starting as a hobby, I worked my way up from assistant, third shooter, full time second shooter, and finally felt ready to begin my own business in 2019. I’ve been involved in the photography of over 300 weddings, and the experience that has come with that is invaluable.

I offer my couples a relaxed, enjoyable photography experience on their wedding day - maintaining an attentive and private atmosphere that allows myself and my team to seamlessly blend into the flow of events. present, but not invasive.

Living away from home, I understand how special it is to have all the people you love in the same room, and you deserve to enjoy their company instead of an exhaustive checklist of photo-ops during cocktail hour.

Curated information packets of the timing, location, and planning for your photography come standard with all packages. In preparation for your wedding day, every couple receives a family shot list template that can be customized to suit your needs - efficiency during this part of the day is something that myself and my team strive for.

You deserve to enjoy your wedding day - my goal is to deliver both beautiful, timeless photos, and for my couples to actually have fun! it’s a wedding day, not an 8 hour photo shoot.

During portraits, group photos, and curated moments, gentle posing cues are offered with the aim of creating a natural, relaxed, happy atmosphere. Conversely, a photojournalistic approach is taken while genuine moments unfold - a private first look that truly feels like just the two of you? we’ll capture it on a longer lens and leave you to it. i’m here for you, not to produce content for myself.

I’ll let you wipe your nose on my dress and give you a light - let’s get married!
